Ford recently participated in the launch of the 17th Annual Toy Mountain Campaign of Toronto, held at Yonge-Dundas Square. The Salvation Army campaign runs from Nov. 30 to Dec. 24 and collects toys that will be distributed to Toronto families in need.
The Ford Blog team was there for the launch of the campaign and participated in the festivities helping to collect toys in the bed of an F-150. In addition to plenty of smiles, we enjoyed an amazing show from The Salvation Army Brass Band and Festive Carollers and had a chance to speak with Tom Brown, of CTV, David Nourse, owner of a Toronto-Area Ford Dealership, and Major John Murray, from The Salvation Army.
Toy Mountain’s goal is to collect 150,000 toys and they need your help! You can drop off donations at Toronto-Area Ford Dealerships. And while you’re there dropping off toys, why not take the opportunity to test-drive one of our 2013 vehicles?
