It’s that time of year again — a season filled with joy, merriment, and the spirit of giving. But not everyone has the same opportunity to enjoy the holiday season, and around the Toronto area in particular, there are many children who may not get to share in some of these experiences.

But, that can change with you. Help us bring holiday cheer to underprivileged children across the metro region by contributing to Toy Mountain, an initiative from CTV and The Salvation Army. There’s no better time than now to get in that giving (and receiving) mood!

This year, the campaign’s goal is to collect 150,000 toys. It’s a big mountain to climb and every donation counts.

There are 22 Toronto-area Ford dealers that are participating in the campaign to help raise much-needed toys and funds. We want to drive as many donations as possible and spread good cheer.

So, while you’re out shopping for the holidays, swing by one of the participating Ford dealers in the Toronto area by Dec. 16. Drop off an unwrapped toy or two in person. Every dealership’s goal is to fill an F-150 with toys for the drive. That sounds like a lot, but some big hearts around the city have already been making some big donations.

You can also donate money online and have the Salvation Army pick out a toy for you. This is a great way to help because it allows the volunteers to buy toys in bulk and get more value from each donation.

And of course, you can spread the word by sharing this post. The Toy Mountain donation goal may be 150,000, but it’s certainly not the limit. While all contributions are certainly appreciated, toys for newborns, toddlers and teens are what Toy Mountain needs most.

Toss a toy on the Mountain today to help us spread joy to the kids who need it most. Thanks for helping out, and happy holidays from all of us at the Ford Blog.
