For Cinderella it was her glass slipper, for Danielle it’s her 2013 Escape that fits her lifestyle like a glove!
As an equipment administrator for a construction company in St Albert, Alberta, the 2013 Ford Escape was the vehicle she had unknowingly been dreaming about since last fall.
After deciding to retire her old Chevy Cavalier, Danielle was on the hunt for her next vehicle. “I was going to Toyota and Mazda dealerships looking at all different types of crossovers but there was nothing there that I liked.”
Originally from Ontario, Danielle grew up in a Dodge family. It wasn’t until she met her boyfriend Brent’s enthusiastic family of Ford superfans that she considered buying a Ford. “My boyfriend’s parents mentioned that there was a new Ford Escape coming out and that I should wait and see what it was all about.”
At the start of the summer Danielle finally got her chance to test drive the new Escape at Waterloo Ford Lincoln in Edmonton. The results from her drive had her ordering the Escape in Tuxedo Black that very same day. “I’ve never ever had a brand new vehicle and I’ve never really paid more than a thousand dollars for a car, so it was kind of scary at the beginning. Once I got to see the new Escape and test drive it I was so excited!”
Although Danielle was completely sold, it was important that Tawny, her Australian Shepherd Greyhound mix, take to it as well. “When I went to pick it up, I brought her with me. She loves it!”
What impressed Danielle with Waterloo Ford Lincoln Dealership is that they are a major supporter of the Edmonton Humane Society. They have a pet-friendly showroom where animals, along with their owners, are welcome.
Danielle was planning for the future when she bought her 2013 Escape. She doesn’t want to buy a new vehicle down the road when she decides it’s time to start a family. The Ford Escape fits her lifestyle. Whether she’s planning on getting groceries or heading out on road for camping trips, the Escape fits every situation. But most importantly, it fits her big dog Tawny.
“I’m a big fan of Ford now so I would definitely consider them first before looking at other cars. I took care of my cars and obviously didn’t want them to break, but now it’s like my baby. I love it. “
