On June 12th, Ford Canada proudly ‘teamed up’ with the MLSE Foundation to present the 2016 MLSE Team Up Challenge in support of Camp Trillium.

The Team Up Challenge is a one of a kind fundraising event; an all-day tournament where teams competed in soccer, basketball, and ball hockey with the goal of raising money to enrich and support the lives of youth and their families who are battling cancer at Camp Trillium. Each team was paired with a Camp Trillium family that cheered them on throughout the day.

This year’s challenge ended up being nothing short of a huge success! With the support of over 70 teams and more than 700 participants, Camp Trillium received over $300,000 to continue to support kids and their families!

Ford Canada was on-site to provide some much needed support for all of the teams. The Ford Athlete Lounge offered complimentary massages to relax competitors before and after their big games, and free snacks like popcorn, candy and popsicles.

The Toronto Area Ford Dealer Association hosted a D4UR Community in support of Camp Trillium, bringing five of their newest vehicles for everyone to test drive. With over 100 test drives completed, Ford of Canada donated $2,100 to Camp Trillium and the important work they do.

We want to thank all of the participants for all of the time (and sweat) that they invested to make this year’s challenge a success. Ford Canada is proud to support such an honourable cause, and we can’t wait for next year! To register for next year’s challenge click here.
