Many truck drivers go the distance for their job. But few rack up the miles like Super Duty owner Barry Larsen of Weyburn, Saskatchewan. He has personally put over 1 million kilometers on not just one, but both his Ford F-250 and F-350 trucks.

After hitting 1 million kilometers, the trucks are running beautifully. “There’s not a rattle or squeak, no wind noise,” says Barry, who can count on them for a comfortable ride on every trip.

A long-haul driver, Barry transports recreational vehicles from Indiana to the Canadian prairies. A typical trip for him is 5,000 km and 5 days on the road, half of it with a large trailer in tow.

For the Ford engineers, this kind of legendary longevity and performance comes as no surprise. Especially when you consider the kind of merciless testing that went into testing them.

One thing Barry does count on to keep his trucks in great condition is regular servicing at his Ford Dealer, Great Plains Ford. It’s the only place he trusts to maintain his vehicles.

With two trucks joining the million kilometer club, he’s clearly doing it right.
